The programme for two days of events taking place over the weekend of Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd February on the theme of ‘LGBT Voice and Influence’, as part of LGBT History Month. Take a look and go along!
Some great stuff happening: films of local LGBT stories, performance by LaDIYfest friend Carol Robson, ‘trans voices’ talk by Nell Stockton, gig by Grace Petrie, a chance to learn about Edward Carpenter himself, a screening of Pride, and discussion of the film with the founder of Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (!!) and an activist from Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign.
You might have noticed that many of these events happen to be taking place on the same day as a talk in Sheffield by someone we don’t like very much. Thanks, Friends of Edward Carpenter, for offering a wonderful alternative!
