Menstrual Hygiene Day is a global day of action, advocacy and knowledge-sharing around menstrual hygiene management, menstrual taboos and menstruation education.
Menstrual Hygiene Day aims to help to break the silence and build awareness about the fundamental role that good menstrual hygiene management (MHM) plays in enabling menstruators of all genders reach their full potential all over the world. The first MHD took place on 28th May 2014 and #periodpositive, Irise International and Sexpression:UK are three of the partners of Menstrual Hygiene Day.”
The free infoshop for all ages/genders is running from 11am to 4pm, with a comedy show and fundraiser from 8pm to 10pm – all happening at the Moor Theatre Delicatessen and open to all genders. We don’t have any info about accessibility, and would suggest anyone who needs details clarified, to contact the venue.
