plan for main event agreed:

saturday:
1pm – 2pm set up and sign in at croft house
2pm – 6pm workshops at croft house
6pm – 7pm food at croft house
7pm – 11pm bands at the red house
11pm – late djs

sunday:
1pm onwards at the rutland, films / food / etc

i have confirmed with croft house booked at 156 quid. need to arrange 50 quid deposit to confirm booking and remainder paid at event. have also phoned rutland to book sunday, so now thats all sorted. need to start seriously looking at workshop options, put together list of things discussed so far and whats doable. put together profroma to send to people to get costs and info about set up requirements and numbers etc. think about how to use the space. need to contact SAF about food.

fundraiser at the earl on 10th sept ‘bring yr own band’ – agreed to go with an open mic/band thing so people can turn up and play some records or sing a song or play something as long as its a song by a woman. going to get some local bands confirmed. emma to sort flyer in the next few days. fb event to get set up asap.

punk riverside fundraiser being arranged too – will let fiona update.

film fundraisers – have contacted tom about setting up next one to promote this sunday. another two to sort.

we discussed potential bands for all events, think charlotte has the main list, but to start contacting people re availability.

poster – i have altered the main event flyer to be a bit clearer and now have more details about venues and the ethos on the back. will have some photocopied for sunday.
have also set up a gmail account to be used as main email – easier to keep an eye on, more recognisable and means it can be used to create a public calendar / map / documents. fiona to set up a personal facebook for ladiyfest. passwords all the same so anyone can access as before.

badges – can dean provide contact? or alternative options will be sought. can use new poster for graphics.
website – ill chase the guy i emailed last week. may attempt to set up a tumblr or something in interim thats more accessible.

promo/press – now we have details confirmed can start thinking about plugging event online etc. sort out list
