minutes from meeting 15th august

– byob. went really well and raised £170.15. remainder of clothes from the swap taken to local charity shops.

– sept 7th gig – hollaback launch. bands contacted and awaiting responses. mo/sam offered to dj again, eve to ask liz if she wants to dj as well. cara to set up facebook account with hollaback logo and details once they are emailed. charlotte to ask emma about a poster. natasha described having paper on walls for storytelling activity alongside a laptop corner for people to post directly to their website and patches/stencils, all of which hollaback will organise.

– sept 14th gig. moved to audacious space. howl and beards confirmed now with nervous twitch and amorous dialogues, possibly more tbc. charlotte to ask emma about a poster and sort fb event afterwards.

– november weekender. hollaback offered to make vagina cakes for saturday. discussed options for sunday, still need to meet with steve about how to set things up at harland cafe. charlotte told us about the foolish men project from leeds, a community performance group about men and feminism. keen to ask lashings of ginger beer if it is viable to come up this year or for a standalone performance at another time, eve to contact. looked over list of bands and agreed a few of us interested would meet up at caras next week to make a shortlist. went over workshop list again and split up shortlist into people who would start making contact to gauge interest before sending proformas etc.
